Wallace and Gromit’s Musical Marvels

Wallace and Gromit

Now then, who doesn’t love Wallace and Gromit? (or Wallet and Gromice as my three year old daughter calls them). They’re the lovable duo who get up to all manner of capers with their wacky inventions and a solid dose of Wensleydale cheese.

Now you can see Wallace and Gromit in a live interactive show, where Wallace prepares to perform his musical masterpiece My Concerto in Ee Lad with help from his faithful canine companion Gromit.

There’s a whole load of specially created animations as well as a live orchestra providing the soundtrack. Plus the performance also includes a showing of The Wrong Trousers with the orchestra providing the score. You can see a preview of the amazing show in this video.

There are performances up and down the UK during May and June, including at The Forum in Bath on Friday 31st May – just perfect for enjoying with your family during half term. There are two performances at 2.00pm and 6.30pm and tickets are available online from £18.40.

Gromit Model Making Workshops

If you’re feeling creative before the show you can also take part in a Gromit Model Making Workshop. The workshops are run by animation experts from Aardman, the team behind Wallace and Gromit and many other amazing films. You’ll be able to make your very own Gromit and have a go at bringing it to life with Aardman’s Animate It! software. Plus you can take your creation home with you as well as an Aardman Model Maker certificate.

The workshops offer an amazing opportunity to ask questions about animation and Aardman and really develop your children’s model making skills.

The workshop is suitable for ages 7+ and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets cost £10 and both adults and children must have a ticket to attend.
