My family and I are so lucky to live in Worthing and have a host of entertainment venues right on our doorstep. From one of the oldest cinemas in Britain at the Dome to three theatre venues, we’re spoilt for choice.
Worthing Theatres and Museum is putting on another great programme of shows to delight children and family of all ages, including the annual Spin Out series. Here’s a little taster:
King Arthur: A Legendary Comedy
This is a brand new laugh-out-loud show suitable for all the family (recommended for age 7+), featuring the tale of what happens when King Arthur teams up with three squires to cement his place in history.
Connaught Theatre – 17th and 18th July at 7.00pm
The Lion Inside
The beloved children’s book comes to life in this new adaptation featuring new music and lyrics. It tells the story of the meekest mouse who finds that even the smallest creatures can have a the biggest voices.
Pavilion Theatre – 14th, 15th, 16th June
Sam Wu is Not Afraid of Ghosts
A great treat for the summer holidays, the production tells the story of Sam Wu and his pet snake sidekick, who are trying to defeat the Ghost King once and for all! Suitable for ages 6-12 years.
Pavilion Theatre – 22nd – 25th August
Robin Hood
The legendary Worthing pantomime is back on the 5th December, with all of the action and entertainment we have come to expect. Will Robin Hood and Maid Marian be able to defeat the evil Sheriff of Nottingham? (oh yes they will!!)
Pavilion Theatre – 5th December to 5th January. Early bird ticket discounts are available until 12th July.
