It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and that can only mean one thing – it’s panto time!
Following on from the phenomenal successes of Jack and the Beanstalk, Cinderella and Aladdin (to name but a few), Sleeping Beauty is gracing the stage of Worthing’s Pavillion Theatre.
Featuring a stellar cast, banging tunes and a whole host of spectacular special effects, there’s truly something for all the family to enjoy.
Topping the bill (in my view anyway) is Katie Pritchard, who returns to Worthing for her fourth panto. Katie stars as Fairy Amethyst and is bound to bring the house down with her fantastic voice and cheeky comedy.
The Dashing Hero is brought to life by Michael Auger from Collabro – the winners of series 8 of Britain’s Got Talent. Starring alongside him is local talent Marcavia McCarthy as Princess Ariana, who recently graduated from University of Chichester’s ‘Triple Threat’ programme.
Muddles the court jester is played by Jay Rawlings who is a record breaker and member of the Magic Circle. There’s also two returning stars in the fantastic Patrick Monahan as the Evil Underlord Ross Muir, starring as Queen Dorothia. There’s also a supporting cast of local dancers, many of who are making their professional debuts in Sleeping Beauty.
