The Easter holidays are the perfect time to kick back and enjoy some top-quality theatre with the family, and Choogh Choogh is just the ticket!
It’s perfect for children aged 2 – 7 and their families, or anyone who just loves trains! The performance tells the story of a train ride through India, using classical Indian dance as well as contemporary, play, theatre and movement.
You start your journey with gaining your ticket, and three performers will take you on an adventure of sights, sounds and smells along the way. Your imagination will take you to far off places as you discover the people and nature on your trip.

I love trying out shows like this with my children. They are always an unexpected delight, and I find myself enjoying them just as much. Not to take anything away from the pain delights of a character based performance, but give me real life performers any day!

You can catch Choogh Choogh on Saturday 30th March at 11.00am. It’s at at the Pavilion Theatre Atrium, which is a more relaxed and cosy space for little ones. The performance lasts for 50 minutes with no interval. Tickets are priced at £9.00 and can be purchased from the Box Office or online.
