Buying a Father’s Day card can be tricky, especially if you’re buying on behalf of your children. There’s a huge amount of choice, but generally there seems to be a lack of cool cards on the High Street. My husband definitely doesn’t fall within the illustrated teddy bear or relax and enjoy a pint brigade.
So when we were gifted a Father’s Day card from You Said It, I jumped at the chance to get him something more appropriate. And actually when I started browsing the range, lots of inappropriate ones jumped out at me!
I’ve not come across You Said It before, but they really appeal to me. Yes, there are lots of very rude, sweary cards but there’s also a lot of clean humorous ones. There’s even a filter at the top to turn off the rude ones (perhaps a good idea if browsing with your children!)
Once you’ve picked your chosen design, you can also specify which colour envelope you’d like it sent with plus you can also add a message. There’s an option at checkout to send the card straight to the recipient too.
My card was delivered really quickly, and if you order before 3pm you get same day dispatch. It arrived in a plain envelope with a cardboard backing so there was no risk of it being bent. Inside, the card and envelope were wrapped in cellophane and a really nice quality. The card is blank inside for your own children’s scrawlings message.
Delivery is free when you spend over £20 and they offer five cards for £9.99, which is excellent value. You Said It offer a whole load of cards for different occasions (I’m loving the pregnancy / new baby ones) as well as mugs, badges and mirrors. I’ve definitely got my eye on this mug for a Christmas present!
