OK, I admit it, I am slightly in love with Mrs Mactivity. It’s a fantastic website full of the most amazing resources both for educational purposes but also loads of fun craft activities too. Where else would you find unicorns, Russian dolls, number bonds and advent calendars all in one place? It’s become my go to website. Kids bored? Mrs Mactivity. Need something to keep them occupied at a restaurant? Mrs Mactivity.
The range of Christmas resources lives up to the high standards set by Easter and Halloween (and all the other ones in between). Here’s a peek at a few of the activities on offer:
Mindfulness Christmas colouring and an advent calendar sheet with different boxes to colour each day (both A4 sized)
Christmas cone toys, that can either be printed out in colour or black and white for you to colour in
Christmas scenes with traceable words
Christmas bunting, also available as a colour print or black and white version
My kids (aged three and six) absolutely love these resources, and it’s so nice to have things that they can both do (albeit with varying levels of colouring accuracy!) It’s also great for me, as I tend to print off a stash of sheets for them so that I’ve got them to hand when needed. Plus it’s a great comfort that everything is either educational or ‘appropriate’ (I still get flashbacks to the time I tried to print off a picture of a cow for my son, and a very dodgy porn advert popped up on my screen!)
