I had the honour of attending the Grand Opening Party of the Darlings Beauty Rooms last weekend, and boy it didn’t disappoint! It’s a new salon in Worthing, West Sussex and is the brainchild of Gemma Darling. Gemma has worked in beauty for over 10 years so has a wealth of experience in all things luxury and pampering! She has now branched out on her own and is very proud to be opening the doors to the public.
Situated in a charming row of shops, the salon is well placed for the local community to enjoy. There is plenty of residential parking nearby, and even a pub a few doors along! There are three treatment rooms; one for spray tanning, a darker room for relaxing treatments and another, larger, treatment room which would be perfect for couples or mum and daughter pampering. There’s also two manicure stations and two very comfy chairs for foot treatments. There’s plenty of space in the salon and the large windows provide plenty of natural light. Although the salon is on the corner of two roads, there’s no traffic noise at all, and the treatment room doors are going to be sound-proofed to provide even more privacy. It would make a really lovely space for a pamper party or for a bride and bridesmaids to prepare for a wedding. Gemma has plenty of contacts in other industries, so hairdressers etc. can also be supplied in the salon.
The range of treatments offered is what you’d expect for a luxury beauty salon; with hands, feet, spray tanning, waxing, lashes, brows, face and body treatments all available. Products used include St Tropex, Shellac, Vinylux, Aromatherapy Associates and Kaeso. The prices are very reasonable for a salon of this size and quality, for example a Shellac gel manicure is £20 and an anti-ageing facial £40.
