Review and Giveaway ~ Old English Co

Hands up who loves stationery? I certainly do, whether it’s notebooks, pencil cases or A4 folders (although I’m not sure when I’ve actually ever used one of these?!) I have many fond memories of hours spent in stationery shops, even in the days before Smiggle!

My stationery tastes have evolved as I’ve grown up, and I now lust over sophisticated tones and metallic lettering. I’m a new blogger / writer and in the first couple of months my planning regime consisted of scraps of paper, which inevitably either got lost or I forget why I had written something down.

There’s a lot of discussion in networking groups about how useful a planner could be, so I set off on a search and came across Old English Co.

The website features lots of lovely items printed with slogans such as She Believed She Could So She Did and Life Begins After Coffee. They also have a beautiful range of stationery, including notebooks, notepads, calendars, wrap, tape and the all important planners.

The selection of planners does not disappoint. Available in a range of four colours, the planner is A5 so easy to carry around and fit in a bag. There are no dates printed, so you can use it from whenever you like during the year. Each of the 380 pages has a daily checklist plus an extra section at the bottom for notes. The cover is made from luxurious thick card with planner printed on the front.

This seems like a really useful planner to me, as it’s not too prescriptive (as some others appear to be) but it has plenty of space. It’s also appealing enough that I wouldn’t be embarrassed to have it out at meetings or events, where it would double as a notebook.

Four plannersOld English Co are running a competition for you to win a set of four planners; one each in blush pink, charcoal gray, off white and black. Enter before the 26th April !
