Review ~ The Lifestyle Box Co

Selection of gifts from The Lifestyle Box Co

I am not a glamourpuss. I am nowhere near being one. I am not the mum that other mums are jealous of in the school playground. I am the mum that remembers too late that I have forgotten to put any make up on. Or brushed my hair.

There’s no excuse for it really. I work from home and have a very helpful co-parenting husband, plus my children get up reeeeally early so I should have plenty of time to glam up.

What can I do?

It’s not that I don’t want to. I think I’ve slipped into the mode of taking care of everyone else first and then not having enough enthusiasm to do anything for myself. Plus I don’t work in an office anymore so there’s less pressure to keep up with the childless young ones! I used to have coiffed hair and painted nails and wear heels every day. Now I’m lucky if I remember to change out of my lounge trousers before I go out.

Perhaps if I felt better about myself I’d be more motivated to look my best.

A transformation is in order! Could a women’s lifestyle subscription box help me out? The lovely Melanie and Marie from The Lifestyle Box Co sent me their June box, and frankly I started to feel more glamorous just opening the parcel!

It’s a beautifully presented luxury box full of gorgeous goodies that you wouldn’t necessarily buy for yourself, plus the contents for each month are kept under wraps which builds on the excitement level!

What’s in the box?

Inside my white box, under the layers of silver tissue paper, were my four gifts:

What is so brilliant about this box is that it’s all for me. I don’t have to share it with anyone, especially my children. Plus it’s four things that I wouldn’t ordinarily have bought, in fact I didn’t know lash oil even existed! Having them delivered to me is a great prompt to actually try them out, rather than just stuffing them in a drawer and forgetting them.

I would definitely treat myself to another box, or love to receive one as a gift, hint hint!

The Boxes

Each month’s box contains four different products with a choice from candles, beauty, fashion accessories, stationery, confectionery and home trinkets. The boxes are themed with the products and packaging all co-ordinating.

All of the products are sourced from independent brands, which is brilliant and even better than that, the brands are run by women. Big shiny gold star to The Lifestyle Box Co!

Prices start from £17.50 + £3.50 for P&P per month, when you take out a six month subscription or a one off box is £20 + P&P.

The Lifestyle Box Co have a lovely website and are also on Facebook.
